can anyone help with my own van design please?

Hi all
been trying to design my own van since a year ago loads of ideas loads of designs but can never seem to satisfy myself. Ideally want to combine digital printing and cut vinyl into the design. Any help much appreciated the attached started as an idea i liked but not so sure now. Any ideas comments only a sign company with out a sign enouigh said.

Kevin, I wanted to help, but your .eps is REALLY pixillated.
Either that or I drank too much last night.

Jill, are you using Corel 12? if you are you need to change the file extension to PS. and import it as a postscript

nice design Kevin, I wouldn’t change the printed log except change the shadow to a pale subtle light Grey & have put a royal blue shadow & thin outline around the yellow “tick” (not sure what to call it) as it would blend in with the white paintwork.

One of my pet hates is the word “Mob” I don’t know what the font is that you have used for that but i like it, so have added the “ile:” in arial.
Also added the phone icon instead of “Tel”

Tried to shrink it down to export as a .jpeg but all the colours change for the worst, so have left it as eps.

Overall nice design mate.

thanks for your input, i know what you mean about “Mob” inserted numbers as after though just before posting. Still undecided on design but thats what my problem always is complete a design or logo for myself but never commit to it and end up starting again.

Jill i’ve loaded it up as corel file from Corel 12 if you or anyone else fancy having an input

I am on Corel 9, so I guess it’s just not my day.
I would have to agree with the “Mob” or “Tel” comments tho….you know my feelings on using those phrases.
But an abbreviation is even worse!

Kev,

I think it’s important to get the word Signs correct as it’s such a large part of the design……. a bit of work on the spacing/joining [g-n then others]
Maybe make the whole word more digital 3d? [attached?-idea[still work needed]]
Looks good though and would get noticed.

Could I ask a really stupid question? How did you create the 3D effect, and which software. Got corel and flexi, but when i convert to bitmap i,m not happy with the quality.Thanks Matt
