Hi again everyone, can anyone suggest a good media for printing onto then mounting onto banner material, as opposed to direct printing onto banner as the customer wants a mix of text and photos. Quite a large number of these are wanted, so i thought it would br quicker to print, cut+ fit to banner. Thanks Matt

My goodness that was quick shane!!!!! I would like them to last at least a year as these will be moved about from in to outside and from store to store(8or9). Hope that answers your question shane.

sorry mate, getting thrashed in the cricket by Sri Lanka, trying to keep myself busy so I don’t start crying. 🙁

I’d check with Oracal, but I’d imagine 3551 would probably last in this environment, make sure the banner is rolled not folded tho.

Oracal also have a rubber based vinyl for low impact plastics. That may be a better bet. Can’t think of the code, I think it is 820?. You’ll probably have to laminate them too, to prevent them being damaged. People tend to treat banners poorly, so any help to prolong the life may be a good investment. Especially for 12 months of life.

i would not worry and do the prints on to a good vinyl because you say they will be moved around the store inside ? i have not had a problem except when they fold it. give them a tube to roll it round – if it comes back with out the tube there is the answer.
