    Howdy,

Here’s a couple of pics of our 1st paying van sign job, kept it as clean and simple as possible so as to keep in line with my current application skill level.

But I absolutely 100% enjoyed the consultation, design, cutting & fitting and I also take my hat off too everyone on this forum as it’s now more evident than before that this is a very skilled trade and I have alot to learn.

    kindest regards

    Mark B

That’s a very good first job! I think you may have a future in signs.

two colours, neat, uncluttered, recesses., and a design.

So you have done a lot more than most for the first attempt.

So tell the truth, how long did it take, how much did you charge(answer optional) and have you got a big smile across your face?

    Thanks for the comments,

I had to do it two hits as..

    1) I forgot to mirror a set of text for one of the sides of the van

    and

    2) I really took my time to feel and learn about the material.

    Price £300

    Time 5hrs

Big smile here, as I managed to get the balance right, I knew my limitations and managed to stay within them and still impress my customer..

    Good time thus far….

    I like this alot Mark.

Has a great corporate feel about it. I like the negative space, the layout is very clean.

    Did you design the logo?

Allround excellent 1st job, well done.

It is a nice clean job, I like the uncluttered professional look.
One crit is that on the hood (bonnet?) I would have slightly “smiled” the lettering so that it appeared straight when applied.
