  • Menu Board Vinyl suitable for liquid pens?

    Hi All

Could anyone advise which vinyl is suitable for use with “liquid ink pens” We have menu board to refurbish. Ideally we are after a black vinyl – only one i Have seen is Metamark White Dry Wipe vinyl.

I assume you want to overlay the board with the vinyl to give a black surface. You could use Foamalux Ultra board which is available black. I have succesfully used white ultra as a whiteboard surface.

I think there may be a vinyl out there which can be used a chalk board surface, you can then use the liquid chalk pens to write on it.

    Hi Chris

Hexis 01543 411221 do a clear dry wipe vinyl which could be put over a
black layer if you can’t find a suitable black dry wipe. They also do a blackboard type material.

I recently purchased ‘chalkboard’ vinyl from Metamark, just over £7/metre + vat

Cherwell also do a blackboard vinyl, made by Aslan, think it a bit cheaper than Metamark.
