    I use a de-walt, It has an adjustable temp setting, and is only about 24-25 quid

    what he said, think its a DW340K,

    hanging my head in shame 😳 !! was gonna buy the new metabo one at the time but demand was such that i’d’ve had to wait at least another week for one 🙁

    but, it’s ok i guess…. for a dewalt !!

    as above dw 340 i got mine from b q
    i got my father in law to get it to get the extra 10% discount
    i think machine mart do them also
    sound bit of kit and reasonably priced it has a long flex as std and can be stood on end so you don’t have to lie it down on its side

    Two things.

    Will you be using it yourself or do you have employees?

    If the former, get a good one that you like using.
    If the latter by as cheap as you can and buy in bulk.

    Good advice John. Only thing I’ll add is that if you have staff using it, buy one that is not worth stealing…. 🙄

    Our wrap training guy recommends Bosch PHG 630 DCE guns.

    Digital display for exact temperature control. Heat variable from 50 to 630 degrees C. (So the other half can even use it as a hairdryer!!)

    About £45 I believe.

    By all accounts it’s the Rolls Royce of heat guns for the application of vehicle wrap vinyl.

    we use bosh, it has a temp setting between 50 an 500 degrees celcius in steps of 10 and a adjustaable blowing force, works really good
