    Hi mate

Did a couple of stripes myself recently and found no problem on gentle curves, a tip I read on here which i think would work although a bit long winded is lay some app tape over the curve, mark out the stripes in pencil, remove, photograph and sketch over image on screen then cut.

Rich.I dont think the roof is curved enough to cause any probs on an old mini. Precut and apptape to keep the spacing , hinge in the middle (side to side) and apply middle to front. Thats How I would do it.

thanks for replies will let you know how i get on

still worried as i do the roof at each end the stripe’s going to look like it goes in towards the middle
its got to be dry has it ???
    i guess so !!!!!
its going to look crap as its an old mini paint work not the best and its silver with a baby pink stripe NICE !!!!!
STILL better than working on a £12000 BMW mini and slipping with the blade !
i will post a pic as by the time i do it you all would have had too many drinks to notice there not straight
