how to securely fix a 8×4 sheet of dibond to a wire mesh?
Posted by Deleted User on 9 December 2005 at 09:14Hi everyone,
Do any of you have any ideas on how to securely fix one 8×4 sheet of dibond to a wire mesh fence? Is there any kind of fixings we could use?

Yes cable ties and you can get them in colours if you need to try and hide them.

If you want something a little more robust try these

Will these be strong enough? Is there no fixings that will clamp the panel to the fence?
-
Well you could nut and bolt it and fit big washers on the back or make some plates from Di-bond

Better going for the channel, as in road signs and bolt to another strip on the otherside of the fence, neat and professional.

We would do it and have done it the way Dave has suggested. Strip on the other side of the fence. It gives a nice neat professional finish.

Dave’s way is the best, it will also help to keep the Di-bond flat.

When you say bolt the channel to another strip of channel on the other side, do you mean bolt using normal 76mm clips or just normal bolts or self drillers?

David you get bolts with the clips normally when fastening to the poles, they are standard stainless ones, in your case just order then with the channel. The head of the bolt goes in the channel groove preventing it from turning.
