land rover defender stripes/logo needed?
Hi everyone,
Would any of you happen to have the stripes and logo for a landrover defender jeep? As always, all help appreciated.

Well I’m going to be double pedantic. A Landrover could be called a jeep but not a Jeep, as jeep is a contraction of the intials GP for general purpose, whereas Jeep is the name of an actual make of vehicle.
I’ve also been drinking heavily tonight.
Try the Landrover website; there must be a load of photos of what the stripes look like.

sorry to hijack..The japanese also copied our bkes and made their own without the oil leaks, they did the same with cars.
I dont think landrover products have enjoyed the best reliability record.
The japanese may have more to go wrong, but it seldom does
😀having used most 4x4s in almost every environment around the world over the last 40 years, If my life depended on one, I would not choose a landrover,
But if you are a fan and enjoy fixing them rather than driving them, thats your choice. 😀 😀 😉

thats not scary Nik,
what is is when you have to travel 500miles in a truck to get to work, no gps no acurate maps, just an oil drum now and again to let you know to turn left or right.

But on a serious note, 4x4s are fun, but if you are really serious about off road then tyres dont come into it, you do need tracks, ask caterpillar.Peter

My hometown of Butler PA is the birthplace of the Jeep.
We even have some Land Rovers over here too, but as far as stripes or logos for them go, I can’t be of any help.

i have an x-trail only because my mate works at nissan
and i cant sit in a small car plus it has heated seats Ahhhhhhhhhh! -

they could go underwater.
unfortunatley like landrover, reliability was a big problem. they used a petrol engne, and tried to waterproof it, diesel would have been much better, but like landrover, they never could make a good small diesel.

PeterI could go on about the reliability of landrover for ages, my father in law loves them, I’ve worked on them and hate them but off road they can be ok, mainly cos I’m not bothered about scratching them.
My brother in law borrowed a Fiat panda 4wd and that was very good, lacked a little in the ground clearance though 🙂
