Hi I’ve a signwriting job to do next week, outside, on a rendered wall of a shop. I am looking for a copy of Carleton Bold if anyone has it so I can make a pounce pattern to speed things up a little seeing as we’ll be into December.

Hope we have a heat wave next week. 😕

    Thanks neil

    Hi Neil,
I was only able to find Carleton normal.
I did a search didn’t find Carleton Bold.
You can always add a stroke to the text and make it bolder.
    I know its cheating.
I will keep looking in our CD’s here

    Hi Neil,
I’m thinking your customer is adding the bold from the toolbar you know how some people that don’t know that some fonts come as regular, bold, extra bold, bla bla bla.
So I’m thinking that’s what happen he probably using Microsoft word and pressed the B button to make it bold.
Yeah we get that a lot with our clients so I think that’s what’s happening. 😉

That’s a good point Nancy, do you know how word knows how to make it bold, so you now how much to add to it in other program’s?

In word its just a push of a button.
In others adjusting the stroke is required might be 0.5pt or more depends how large the final print.
    🙂
