    hi all I’m not very art deco when it comes to fonts to use in fact I’m no good with fonts at all

    could any one please point me the right direction for an art deco font
    customer suggested a mac one called Charles Rennie Mackintosh style

    If you look on the Mackintosh link further down you will see that Willow is very similar.

    There’s a Casmate font called “Deco” which is ideal. Check and see if you already have a font on your own system with this name

    this is what im doing the building is 1930
    this was posted last week with no room to move design now customer has changed mind but still wants to use these colours

    1930 colours ?????

    Just an idea for a layout you might like.

    Fonts are Plaza and Broadway engraved or Broady-E in Signlab.

    Astaire is a 30s font, so is Baby Teeth.
    Color choices (at least here) for that era are creams, butter yellows, jade green, and a rich red.
    Think of the colors of the rolling pin handles and dishes in Granny’s kitchen.
