why is my mimaki showing illegal IPT code please?
I have a mimaki CG60ST which has developed a fault, please can anyone help?
The memory seems to be the problem, as when switched on it checks the RAM then reports "illegal IPT".
It went back to uppliers for the same fault about a year ago, but has now developed it again.
Does anyone know a Mr (or Mrs) Fix it who may be able to fix it for a reasonable cost please?

Just a thought, can you not talk to the people that fixed it last time, maybe they will tell you what it was, you never know it maybe something you can fix your self.

I would try Mimaki again, but last time they charged me £300 and I can do without a bill like that before christmas! ( I wan’t to party like the Scots!) -
Just seen this post, sorry I didn’t reply, we need our “Last 24 hours” button please rob.
Anyway, I just looked at the manual and tried to find something related, I have no idea what IPT means.
If it is memory, then maybe it is removable or something like that, maybe just damp effecticting the contacts etc.
