  Moulded Plastic Supplier?

  Hello all…

  I am looking for a supplier who can do moulded plastic extrusions. Basically I want a 3d shape replicated in plastic a number of times and have no idea where to turn. Any ideas? My searches on Google have lead me down too many wrong paths!! Hopefully the boards will come to the rescue again!!

  Kieth,
  sounds like you need someone who can vacuum form the parts for you, look in the local phone book i’m sure you will find someone. They will basically make a die which they will vacuum form a heated sheet of plastic over. The die depending what it is etc will normally be the most expensive part of the operation.

  search the boards mate, there is a demo posted a while back showing how it can be done “in house” very successfully & cheap. infact,,, i think it was me that posted it. 😳 (its not in demo section though)
