Hi, what would be the best Vinyl for layering with Tshirts ?
I have a bit of graffiflex pu which is alright in 1 layer, but on a bigger 20x20cm area with 2 layers of colour its rather stiff.. its better when its warm but in the cold its quite stiff.

Ive used a little bit of victorys tshirt vinyl, which seems a little softer but its harder to week and looks a bit more waxy, not tried to layer it yet.

I reallylike the "look" of the graffiflex PU vinyl, and it claims to be good for layering, i just wondered if this was as good as it gets ? 🙁

I’ve used both Victory and Xpres (superflex) in the past with generally good results with single layers. When I tried layering with the Victory product I experienced quite a lot of shrinkage between layers which caused some registration difficulties. Having said that I managed a good result with 2 layers (‘inspired’ by a skate shoe logo) on a hoody for my Son about 3 years ago. It looked great new and after wearing it to death it still looks good now. I find the Xpres superflex has a much better ‘handle’ than the Victory but I haven’t tried their other films.

    Hi Andy

Haven’t seen you for a bit.

We have never had any probs with Victory stuff, it’s just the sticky backing grips the garment surface a little when you remove it and causes it to stretch a little.

I would always recommed the ultra cut from Xpres for layering.
