Has anyone ever fitted one of these? I’ve got one to fit soon and i was wondering what the weight of one of these things is.
Instead of having 610mm extra posts for planting l’m having to go with 1600mm extra, the sign is going on the top of a newly built mound which is too unstable for planting the sign in. i’m having to remove the mound and plant into the solid ground then build the mound back up.
Was wondering about weight because of the difficulty in the sign being top heavy when fitting.http://www.insightsignsystems.com/wayfinderminimonocurve.htm

we fit quite alot of these type of systems. We always concrete (kwik set of course) the posts by 5-700mm then make good whatever surface (grass, tarmac, etc.) def a 2 bod job. Bugger when it has to come out but it’s all chargeable I suppose! And much safer for joe public.

I’ve got a mini mono to fit, 3000×998 display, the posts are 1m extra than normal. How many men to sort it out on-site?

sorry been away! 3 minimum at that size. Need 2 b supported while the cement dries and hope for a wind free day!

havent fitted any of these external m,ate, wouldnt think it be too hard though, but like has been said, extra bodies around helps heaps.

Fitting this week so l’lll get a pic Rob.
I’m going to fit these about 800-1000mm deep because of the extra length of post. Posts are 4.6m with sign display 3metres.
this should be OK, i think?
