Hi all

My first edge lit sign!

Picture of wide dispersion led strips for sign illumination translucent film 2″ from leds.

Led spot lamp of my design beam can be focused an beam width adjustable.

Thanks for that. 😀
I made all the framework – in my workshop – out of mdf and brushed aluminum formica.
The led bar which I made slots through a hole in the left hand support post and into the silver horizontal section, the perspex sign the slides down into that silver section resting 1mm above the array of Led’s.

well i’m impressed dude !

sorry for the questions, but it the image on the plexi engraved or is it simply etch vinyl ? think the former but simply dont know !

Hugh the graphics are done in Vinyl.

Lorraine the customer was well pleased – she is my wife!!

Dave the Led’s are blue.

One thing I forgot to mention – the black lettering on the silver section is black vinyl domed with resin. What a difference it makes, turns a boring flat letter into 3d and has a nice shiny finish. Have a go it does give great result – fun as well until you get carried away and it spills over the edge of the letter!! 🙁
