Hoping someone may be able to point me the right way on this!!!!

Just had a customer ask me for a quote on a large quantity of banners to be signed. But as we all love to see he has the banners so there is a large bulk of profit gone the job before i even price it. Gotta love them guys ! ! ! !

Anywho, on 2Ft Vinyl its working out to over 100Mtrs to be cut and fitted, Now i will admit i have not yet priced the banner vinyl but has anyone any ideas on how to go pricing this job? I’m thinking between £15-£20 a mtr fitted.

How far off the mark would i be at that?

Has anyone had such a situation?

Do not want to loose it as i am going through a quiet spell……

Depends how much weeding time is involved I would say, but std lettering your not a million miles away, I would go for the £20 -£25 as
your not making nought on the banners.

Forgive for coming back on this one,
100 mtr’s of vinyl is a lot to cut and fit is £20.00- £25.00 per mtr too much, £2.5k. difficult one! maybe it’s worth sitting down and working out how long it’s going to take and decide how much you want out of the job
as you say you are quiet, certainly don’t sell yourself cheap though.

Be interesting to see what someone else thinks?

I recently done some banners for a customer of mine over a period of a couple of months, and probably used in excess of 130mtr’s of vinyl but I supplied banners as well, I usually charge around £3 – £3.50 per sq ft for them inc lettering.

On the subject of banners I do work for a top brand maker of alloy wheels, they were after a price for banners to be sent to their distributors all over the country. I knew I had to be cheap, I think they were around 8′ x 2′, I think after a few calls they came in at £30 something.
Then heard one of his buyers had located some in the far east for about £3.50 each fully finished think they had to buy around 200, try under quoting that.!!

Good luck hope you get the job!

well, how many months do you have?

digitial print would be in the region of £3000-5000 retail

    Dont forget eyelets and stitching?

Banners supplies is confusing, is that a roll of banner material or old banners themselves.
