what material can i use for a removable car window sign?
I have been wrestling with this one for a few days. My customer wants signs to fit into the rear side window of his estate car. He also wants to remove them when he isn’t using the car for business.
I have tried making panels out of polycarbonate (to flex into the window cavity), but to get them bendy (there must be a better word for that!) enough i end up using 2mm , which frankly cracks even if you look at it funny.
Can anybody suggest a suitable substrate ? I would even consider using a material similar to the plastic used on tax disk holders (if the vinyl will stay attached to it).
Any advise would be most gratefully received (please don’t bother with the "get out of the industry" posts !)
