no cast, i fitted dry with 751..as used in the previous fitting, its still there in the recesses…i love working with 751 which i thought would be okay on the subaru 😀

in picture your using nylon squeegee??… are you pushing into the vinyl horizontal or cutting in verticle swipes?oh you dont miss a trick eh rob….i started out pushing vertical to get it going then used my fingers to feel the movement just a tad, then worked it horizontal after that to follow onto the end of the stripe 😉

a wee tip, when doing car body shapes like this its handy to try using a flexi but firm felt squeegee. just use it like you said to get a start then fingers to feel the shift in direction of the bodywork. but then in places you may think the vinyl may pucker a little or crease start cutting into the vinyl in swipes like i do in the last 4 layer vinyl demo. it actualy draws out te chance of it creasing and lays flat… sorry im hopeless at explaining :lol1:

yes i know that rob…i usually use them, but it was only for a tiny wee stretch of vinyl to get the feel for the rest of the job i used my fingers….no bubbles were present by the way…well only one that i have just spotted on bolting solutions..it will go away in time 😉
