  • Tiling polyester banner material ?

Hi guys. We want to get into providing pop up displays / roll up banners etc.

We only have a Versacamm 760mm wide and will need to print wider panels and banners than that ! ( most seem to be 830mm + wide )

I’ve never actually held any of the polyester stuff in my hand, so im not sure what its like to work with.

Basically is there any way of joining / tiling this stuff, and is it easy to cut etc….

Any advise would be appreciated, and I would especially like to hear from anybody whos come across similar problems, and how they overcame them !

    Cheers

    Danny

I wouldn’t even consider it if I were you, I would stick to doing smaller roll-ups inhouse and buying in graphics for larger jobs.
Where the panels join you will have double the thickness of material which will always cause problems, there are so many companys with larger machines that will print the graphics for you at a good price why give yourselves the headaches.
