hi does anyone know of a good photo-luminescent vinyl to print onto? I’m currently using a hexis vinyl through the Gerber edge and it seems to leave blotches and holes in the print

Are all Luminescent vinyls slightly textured? I have only used the KPMF one and it was not a perfect smooth surface.

the hexis one does seem pretty smooth but theres always a a slight area that the solid spot colour i print onto it doesnt cover. the customer is rejecting the decals and sending me round the twist! i think i will just ring round and get some samples

We used to print onto photoluminescent vinyl with the edge with varying results, one from allprint was good to print on this was a couple of years ago though, we use a different product now wich doesnt go through the edge so we print onto clear and then apply to the photoluminescent.

Have a handy set of felt pens and carefully “spot” the blemish away. I have saved many a reject with this sneaky method.
