  blocking jets.

  Hi.

  We invested in a new Grenadier printer last December.
  We keep getting problems with jets blocking, and then obviously have problems with colours.

  The heads are soaked every weekend,
  and printer is now being used every day to keep the ink flowing,
  but still have problems with clogging.

  Can anyone suggest what we may be doing wrong ?
  Our studio does get hot during the summer, so we have wondered whether the temprature rise is causing problems ??

  any suggestions appreciated. :thumbup2:

  as its still under warranty i would have the suppliers in on it.
  if its one colour giving trouble then the capping station may need adjustment ? .

  I would change over to the new Roland inks coming out in Sept (see my post re the new inks) or just change over to Ecosol if its an ink hassle and you want total reliablity.
