    Hi

I am in desperate need of some assistance! my business partner is on holiday so i am in sole control of our roland versacamm sp-300. he has only trained me up on it in the last couple of weeks and things were going swimmingly, except now i’ve come acroos a problem i cant fix and apparently mobile phones dont work when your in Stafford!?!?!? lol. some advice would be greatly appreciated!

the digital media i have in the roland is being read by the machine at 726mm wide, which is correct. however, the rip software is only reading the media at about 570mm wide and isnt therefore printing all my designs, its leaving off the last 150mm or so. 572mm is the width of the single colour vinyl i have been putting through it. how do i get the rip to recognise the right size of the digital media?! i have restarted it several times, reloaded the media etc but i am getting nowhere!

bet i sound like a right plank but if anyone can offer any assistance i would be very very grateful!

    thanks

    Kate

I don’t know your machine, but just a thought. Do you have to set the media size in your rip software. It sounds like you are expecting the machine to detect the width (and that may be the case), but it might be something simple like a setting in the rip.

Sorry I can’t be more help.

    Hi Kate,

This might help, set up your camm with media, open colourip go to print, then setup, in set up press the ( set maximum width button ) this should give you the new distance between your pinch rollers, you will then have to rip your artwork again. This might be your answer hopefully.

    Regards Russ
