A circular saw will always give the best and neatest cut in a straight line. If you are cutting shapes, a suitable blade in a jigsaw or bandsaw will do; usually a fine tooth blade.

Thanks Big G, figured that would be the best option—beats using snips. Wasn’t sure if there was way to score and snap.

as andy says but make sure it is a blade for ally.
And use wax for lubrication
