This is the first vehicle i have done graphics on, and it was a pain as i dont really know what i am doing. There was bubbles in some of the letters and swooshes, but only on the ones i never used water on. The only problem i found with water was that it was near impossible to make it stick in the recesses. Could someone advise me on the best way, and how they would have carried out and applied this job.
    Regards Dan

When I was learning i did wet on the flat bits and dry through the ressses, take a swoosh for instance, start from the bottom and work up (if you worked downward the water would run into the creases areas defeating the object of keeping these areas dry), remember to leave it dry through the ressess or as you know it wont stick or it will when it dries out anyhow.

    Good luck keep practicing

nice looking van dan 😛 especially for your first.. well done 😛

my only const. crits would be moving the graphic on the sides over a bit away from the recess at the back. did you cut the vinyl on the back windows? if not..dirt and rain gets into the space and causes lifting 😛 only asking cause i cannot see the doors properly in your photo 😀 😉

    Looks Great 🙂

Bet it took longer than you expected too ?

Measure x15 time then go for it….

After following the general trend on uksb go DRY.
    Its not that bad.

Your confidence will double when you master the “Snatch” ?
I’m still 50% 50% snatching but gaining in confidence.

Bubbles can be pushed out, or pin pricked then pressed out with your finger.

Very brave going for swooshes over ridges on your first go.
I’m a newbie too so not that experienced,
I think i would have convinced them to keep the swooshes in the side top panel than going on the roof?
That’s just to keep it easy.

But I’m sure you learned so much from doing it.

It looks great. Be Proud. I would if it was my first van.

Felt Squeegees may take your fancy too.

    Hope this helps 🙂

Thanks everyone, im glad you all think that it looks ok. It took me ages :lol1: but got there in the end. What does snach mean?
I just cant seem to master dry application. When i used the vehicle wrap film that i used on the blue swooshes cos they had a gradiant on, i could dry applicate it easy with no problems, but the orange was a nigtmare, i had to use water to stop the little bubbles. On the back i did cut it on all the grooves. I used a heat gun on the recesses, and eased them in with a wet thumb. I used a red hard spandex squeegie which is wrong i know, but thats all i have. I measured it about 30 times not 15 :lol1: . Well now i have to do our large Iveco LWB van. 😮 . Thanks again all,
    Dan
