    Hello

I’ve got a florists van that they want signwriting – they’ve had one done before. I was looking for some constructive advice on the following design

    Thanks

Very busy design but good – just think you need to consider a few things

Loads of colours I assume your thinking cut vinyl?
Sometimes you have to work backwards and consider the clients budget or guess there budget not just the design. Some will pay some wont so you could be putting a lot of work in 4 nowt.

Only reason I say is if you are thinking cut vinyl lots of fitting I would guess with various colours / shades.

It’s a little busy and logo gets a little lost – maybe try less is more approach. Depends I guess If client wants it to stick out about town.

    Just my 50p’s

    Tim.

I would just say price in relation to design – throw a few variations on this theme at the client with pricing see what feedback you get.

It’s not made easy having to work on a blue van. Anyway, do you have any clipart of a spray of flowers, preferably that you could place in the back top corner creating a sort of frame for the lettering. It looks a bit too spread out for my liking. I think Steve Broughton posted a pic of a flower van he did using just a few roses he photographed himself. It was very simple and clean. May provide some inspiration?

Funnily enough, I am working on a florist project at the moment.

I would suggest that you also offer an option which incorporates one or two big flowers as well as the lots of little ones approach.

It’s probably not the choice I would make – as I’m having to follow a van they already have then I think i’ll have to stick to this.

It’s a bit confusing as the van they’ve had done doesn’t really match the signage of the shop on the sign they have a very abstract rose but i can’t seem to get any other abstract looking flowers to follow this theme!

I’ll see if I can find that van u mentioned Big G Thanks!

Carrie, you’re a mind reader! That’s exactly what I was thinking.

Now do great minds think alike or fools seldom differ?
