  • Cadet print problem- lines?

Posted by David McPhillips on 1 August 2005 at 01:19

Having come back from my holidays, i have been getting these lines through my prints they have ranged from 1/2mil up to about 4mil this continues right through the print.
Having done test prints i noticed that the lines on the test print were off quite bad so after about 8 head cleans i got a decent test print but on running a job you could still see these lines through the print.

has anyone had this problem? If so could you please give me advice before i go nuts

    Thanks

    Dave

Did you leave your heads in soak while you was away? if not sounds like they have dried up.

i leave my cadett for weeks a time
i usually fill the caps with solvent
some times it sucks back in to the heads but run a cleans and alls well
take your pipes off before the pump apply your sringe to the pipe and suck the ink into the sringe
do this to both pipes make sure no inks is blocking your pipes to pump and drain bottle
where youve removed your pipie attatch the sringe full ov solvent
to the pipe facing twards your pump and for solvent in
then put it all back together and run a clean and test ptint
