i’m reorganizing the place here and want to ask what’s the best (space-effecient) way to store vinyl?

for the moment it all stands in a corner of the atelier (all seperatly in plaistic sheets and boxes so it doesn’t get damaged) butt i would like to get the space back (and look more proffesional when people walk in)

    thanks

I think Robert Lambie did a demo on how to make vinyl storage racks. Here at work we have a heavy-duty steel rack that holds 30 rolls of vinyl but only takes up about 3’x3′ of floor space. It has 10 rows of 3 “arms” that you slide your roll onto. It is very nice to have.

Yes we too made similar racks to those that Robert did a demo on … they are great, do the job perfect and look so much more neater and professional … … they don’t cost a lot to make and dont take a lot of time to make either.

Yes we also made one off Rob’s demo, brilliant as it is is doesn’t allow for full rolls so you have to up the dimensions 😛
