I really like the way that people are trying to give signs a watermark effect.
However on this one i feel that there isnt enough contrast betwwen the blue and grey.

If the text had a hint of dark outline it would lift the text from the grey and it would appear more dimensional..

Having said all that i do like the graphic

    Cheers

Thanks for the replies, we have had quite a few versions over the the last few years, ranging from the “in your face” big bold colourful blatent advert, to slightly more subtle, big bold print, with shadows in bright colours with graphics of fire extinguishers. This time we want to standardise all the vans (7 of them) the brief being “subtle” and “less is more” we dont really get the chance to do vehicle graphics very often but were pleased with the result, as ever the van looks better in real life than in a photo and the contrast is actually alot more noticeable.
Lynn we supply fire extinguishers and safety equipment to mainly trade customers, supply fitting and servicing fire equipment and fire alarm systems. I run the sign shop as a part of this.

    Hi Martin,

Would be interested in seeing the other side of ‘Stuarts Van’, I have been struggling with one of these getting the phone number to go right where yours is, as the fuel cap is right slap bang in the middle on the other side!

    Any ideas anyone?

    Davey,
The top pic has the fuel cap on!!!
Anyway if you cannot avoid the cap then don’t be frightened to go over it.
So long as it’s cleaned around the lip or edges. At least it is a flat panel.
