  • what way do i roll up graphics to post out?

I use Oracal application tape for my own installations but recently have had a few mail order graphics. For some reason the Oracal app tape lifts and curls and I wanted a bit of advice what a better application tape would be for sending graphics out in the post.

Also when rolling the graphic to go in a tube is it best for the vinyl to be on the outside.

    Thanks
    Nathan

Some folks use ‘Conform’ which doesn’t curl at the ends
Looks a little more professional as well

I will second that, conform every time. In my opinion it doesn’t matter which way it’s rolled when using conform.

I used to have a heated vacuum table for preparing graphics. It heated the taped graphic whilst vacuuming it at the same time and produced absolutely flat graphics every time.

    I don’t know why I’m telling you this…but I found it interesting.

Conform does tend to stay pretty flat, better than most tapes.

General consensus is graphics facing out, when rolled.
