    Hi all,

Anyone any advice on getting the corners on ali panfolded trays to close and look a bit neater?

We dont have acess to welding equipment.. i was wondering if there was some sort of metal cement or something off the shelf , that would fill the gaps/strenthen the corner that we could then paint over???

help and advice greatly appreciated as always.

    Hi
One way to do it is to make an L bracket to fit in or out of the corner, depending on the face side. Fix and clamp with 2 pack epoxy, araldite or similar, Ordinary body filler can be used to finish and sand down to a neat finish. There is an aly solder pruduct, that can be used with an aerosol type butane torch, It does work, but you may need to practice on some scrap first.

i have a two part putty that bonds to anything including glass. once solid, it can even be screwed into. i have it in our store cupboard and ill look it out, i actualy spotted it on friday. only downside is i am not sure if the box has a label for me to get who i bought it from. 😕

I think this is similar to Robs stuff, its still a 2 part epoxy, but in a putty form.
