    Any Ideas,

These are 20mm wide with a gap of 10mm then a stripe of 90mm followed by a gap of 10mm then another stripe 20mm wide.

    length approx 3.5 metres.

I have cut as per the customers design now need the beast way to fix them without joins.

Many thanks in advance, will reply later as on call for emergency medical services.

Sorry Chris, one of them days.

Just asking the best way to apply the stripes to the trailer and cab.

Would you do one at a time and build the pattern up or would you backup the three stripes together and apply in one hit.

Also would it be better doing it dry or wet.

    Many Thanks,

    Roy.

if your not confident, cut them as they should be spaced then tape up as one. then apply.
you say they are pretty long but if on a vehicle there must be things like a join in the panel, (weld?) or a door etc if so, measure the longest area without a possible break, then produce your lines at that length and so on. basically you are breaking the lines down every were you can, but it wont be visable.
a tip… if a section is say 40inches long, cut the lines 42inches at least. this helps alignment easier.

ide say apply dry, but then again ill say that on anything with vinyl, do what you feel most comfortable with, but always try steering your ability towards dry app only 😉

    Thanks for that Rob,
There are no panels on the side as the skirts are molded as one for some reason. Therefore the two sides are going to have to be applied as a complete stripe approx 3.5m long.

Orville these are not high vis just fancy stripes to tart the unit and trailer up.

The owner bless him is a perfectionist who will be sitting on my shoulder like a parrot until the job is done.
