Bit of advice needed, what preparation do you need to do to fluted forrex boards before printing, for the best results, I was told to just clean with IPA, any extra advice would be welcome,

    hi jem 😀

i just wipe with a tack rag quickly over the board prior to printing, as static is a problem…never had the need to really clean, except when the delivery man brings them to me….really filthy, god knows how they get them in such a state 👿

I printed 100 correx boards today, just wipe them as you put them on the printing bed with a soft cloth. I even was just using my hand to quickly swipe over the area being printed. Shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

I always tend to use a little meths when wiping down correx, helps to kill the static.

i tend to use that too on larger boards, also add a tiny spot of washing up liquid ….static is gone!! 😀 (witches brew) a manufacturer of correx in cumbernauld told me a while back….and it works a treat!! 😀
