    Hi Peter

My customer referred to it at as a “bump top”. He is trying to match up to an existing sign outside his pub. Its made of glass fibre, has a moulded frame and instead of a typical square or rectangle sign it has along the top edge a “bump” or an arch in the centre.

I guess in short what I am looking for is a manufacturer of Fibre Glass / GRP moulded signs. Preferably who has a stock range.

    aside!
Bit new to the boards and indeed signmaking! However wished I joined UK signboards a lot sooner.

    Many thanks
    Chris

I think I know what you mean – a projecting sign with a feature top edge – have a look at http://www.signmasteruk.co.uk they should have something that matches what your client has now.

Glasplas Signs Ltd would be a good place to try.

    From their site:

    quote :

We are designers and manufacturers of reinforced plastic sign blanks and
    sign systems.

    Fibreglass signs have many benefits:

    Vandal resistant
    Weather resistant

    No expansion or contraction
    All colours available

    No separate frame required
    Fixings included
