I need to fit another sign above existing signage.
The existing sign/s are on 4 posts to creat a V by a verge so traffic can view from both directions.

The only problem I have is the height of the posts.
My questions are does anyone make post extensions apart from Ashby?

or Would it be ok to fit 2 / 3 smaller tubes from the 2 channels on the existing sign to the New sign channels or is this not good practice ?

    Any advice appreciatted.

    Tim.

i have never did this, but… i do see lots of road sign companies doing this to fit over head lights…. ide guess if it was a small sign you would be fine. but any real load bearing ide body swerve.
what diametre is the poles in place? what about taking of existing sign and sliding two new posts (slightly larger diamter) over the top of the old posts, then ataching signs?

in the past what i did was… grind of a small rim around top of plastic coated post. hammer in two wood wedges into top of old posts. then place new extensions over the wood sticking out top and tap them home to to join the posts. then run a weld around the join and clean up, then coat in grey hammerite paint. fit signs and job done 😀
