  • PRICING HELP FOR ESTATE AGENT SIGNS!!

Posted by Stephen Ingham on 5 April 2005 at 19:50

Hi all, just had a customer who owns a property letting business.

They asked if we can produce a dozen TO LET/ ESTATE AGENT type boards, which is no problem.

The big question is they also want us to install the signs and then remove them when the property is letted, on an ongoing basis.

Does anyone have any ideas on how we quote for a job like this??

    Any help would be appreciated

    cheers

dont take this wrong mate, but ignore it. 😉
sorry… price accordingly… but leave it wide open for extra costs incured. (you WILL have them)
unless kitted out for this sorta work and understand how it all works it will become a waste of time and effort.
estate agents want to pay pennies, but have a nice looking sign.
they want you to run here and there as soon as they lift the phone.
easier ways to waste your time mate…

sorry of that sounds a bit negative, just dont want to see you chasing your tail.

thats just what I was going to say Rob 😕 It’s the sort of job you just dont need unless you are really desparate for something to do with your time 😀
I’d give it a miss if I were you – leave that one to people who do them in volume.

I was asked the same thing by one of my estate agent clients…
As far as i can remember he was paying £3.75 yes £3.75 each time the sign was moved, the only time you will make money, is if your doing it for several agents and moving 50 aday, and he did say the company supplied the boards.

hi all, thanks for the response, i thought as much, i got the impression from the call that their current supplier had started to take the mick and not “jump” when they say so, don’t need that type of hassel, proper signs to be made and earned from

    cheers chaps

Hi – the prices quoted are actually quite reasonable if you are a board erector, who can normally handle up to 70 of these jobs a day !
