Quote help needed – Correx signs
Posted by Nathan on 4 April 2005 at 09:14The customer wants 3 x 2000mm x 400mm correx signs in 3 different colours with white text.
1 x Red or burgundy
1 x Blue
1 X BlackDoes correx come in these colours or would I have to flood coat them?
What sort of price should I be quoting for these signs including delivery by courier?
Thanks

you will need to cut them as a solid panel with the letters weeded out of the panel. that way you dont need to then cut the white text as the boards colour will do that for you once applied.

Correx comes in those colours… just cut white text and apply.

Simon your right correx does come in those colours, but if it was done the way Robert suggested you would get all 3 out of one sheet.

good point martin… there is also the point of uv stability, i would recon it hasnt got much UV stability at all 🙄
simon i could be wrong mate but do you not have to buy a pack of ten sheets of correx as minimum order?
-
Robert you can buy a single sheet from europoint if you want, I normally only buy 5 at a time.

I decided to quote £52 + delivery per board. Is this about right or am I way out.
Thanks

Also the price I quoted for 3mm foamex was £67 + delivery per board.

Nathan, if you get the job, the price is fine or to cheap,
Dont know what others charge. but I aim to get about £80 for an 8×4 5mm
fluted sheet with one colour, simple graphics. cut into 6 boards

I just upped my 4×8 coro price to $125.
Coro comes in tons of colors.
It is the staple of my existance!
