    Hello,

I have had my versacamm for about a year now printing from my home on the side. Never really used as much there ( 1 roll of vinyl) at home as I am using it now. Well, I have opened a shop on a busy street here and I have already used 2 rolls of vinyl in the last 3 weeks. Had to change 3 of my my inks one time, original black still hanging in there.

Cannot get a good red to print using Flexi 7.5v5 or Colorip

Anyway I have had a few jobs that required color matching. This one job the customer told me the color was PMS 267. I went to my color chart file from Flexi and inserted the PMS 267. Well the PMS 267 that I printed was close to what it needs to be. So I opened the colorip after giving up on flexi and printed the graphic and the PMS 267 that I am looking for is not there.

In colorip I went to colors and I can move the color line (not sure what it is called) and it will change the tones on screen and on the print. This seems like a way to just guess at it because I never know what it looks like unless I print it. Are there any tips that are quick to share or can anyone point me in the direction to find a solution to my problem?

    Thanks,
    Ken

    Hiya
There is a thread on this very topic on the Roland inkjet boards
    http://www.rolanddga.com
You should also go to their support section on the versacam and DL and print their color chip charts and then you can see exactly what colour approaches the red you like
