  Gold leaf coloured external light box

  We are working on a “special” fret cut internally illuminated light box which the customer would like finished in something akin to gold leaf. This is an external unit and the finish needs to be durable.

  The faces will be made from either aluminium or possibly brass 2mm – 3mm thick.

  A) Who could cut the faces

  B) Any suggestions on durable finish

  Hate to say it mate but “gold leaf” is the most durable finsh you’ll find it’ll out last everything by a good million years

  You could use brass, but have it laquered after. If you get stuck with getting this done, call me 01843 228682
