Thanks John.
We cut the vinyl off quite ragged with a couple of inches to spare around the wheel arch, then applies heat to it and folded it up and under. Then a knife was taken to it and it was then cut off much neater. -
You must have cleaned that bit otf the arch meticulously for the vinyl to adhere well!
A nice clean finish 🙂

Looks good, very prominent.
Is it just the photo or does the print look a bit liney? I’m assuming it’s a print?

It appears nothing slips your eye G. Re: what’s prunning?
Yes, there are a few lines in it.
Our Cyan, or was it Magenta cartridge in our Edge 2 must have been up the duff but we didn’t notice this until too late and we were up against it time wise so decided to just go for it.
Hopefully our client won’t put this down as something to be snagged. -
van looks good, even with the lines, But was there a reason that you used process instead of spot tints?

Haven’t built up my collection of foils to the extent of having different blues. Or maybe I’m missing something and could have done all of this with the one blue and a black for the shadow under the ‘A’.
Still doing a lot of experimenting with the Edge, but due to the amount of work we’ve had on of late, just been satisfied to get the work completed. Not a good excuse I know. -
tints = percentage of colour laid down on the substrata if you have a dark blue you can make lighter ones by altering the percentage. just for future reference, as you say you were busy, but by using this metod you could have done the print in one pass, saving time!

Thanks Peter, will have to give this a go. I was sure there was a way of doing this but wasn’t sure how. As you say this would save time, provided I know what I’m doing, and probably save a bit of money on foils also
