pitty about it being so dark.

🙂 I was very fortunate in some ways as when I purchased the PC60 it came with quite a few ribbons (20). 🙂
Worked out at approx 4 carts cmyk per picture.
As I was not sure of what the machine could do just took the photos and went for it.

    As for the markup Customer very 😛 😛 😛 Me 😀 😀 :D.

I try to be fair where I can with my regular customers he knew it would not be cheap and was prepared to let me do it.

Please understand I would not (after joining this site) do the same, as there is easier and less time consuming ways of getting them printed.

The van will always stick in my mind though as the day before it was booked in my father was taken seriously ill (intensive care for 13 days).
He is ok now and the job took my mind of the situation for a day.

    Thanks for the comments

    Roy.

From what I can see of it, I like it.
It has a “traditional” style that appeals to me,
    even with the prints.
Hope your dad is feeling better.
    Love….Jill

roy, not sure about email mate, could you send again please?
i get tons of emails every single day, nightmare stuff but over next week all should be upto scratch as i will have someone else dealing with many of the day to day ones, to free me up for group support/work etc

anyway… good to hear your dads doing well. nothing worse.. 😕

mort i think you will get carts for about £5 each from printone.
the prints are as durable as a gerber edge print, if that helps.
    both thermal print machines.

And I thought I did insane things with the PC60! 😮 Nice one though Roy, the van looks superb! 😀 And knowing that it was all printed on the PC60 just makes it all the better somehow 😀

If you were doing the van again, would you use the PC60 or buy-in prints?

    Cheers, Dewi

    🙂 Hi All, 🙂
    In answer to your questions.

    (>) Mort,

As Rob suggests I get my ribbons from Print One, excellent service both before and aftersales. £6.00 approx each.
😕 (cant be messing around refilling them myself) 😕

(?) Durability (?) thats a question after reading robs comments on vinyl print but I used frog juice on the prints approx 3 good coats on each.
A tin goes along way. I will keep an eye on the van and let you know.

    (>) Rob,

😮 Sent two emails ref account form not received, 🙄

Purchased vehicle outlines from our friend who poses on his head, its ok I got my discount.
🙄 Tried to PM you but not allowed yet. 🙄

    (>) Dewi,

No I would not do one of that scale again, I would buy in the prints.
Again this was done when I had no idea what the machine was capable of and before I joined UKSG.
I now after being advised 😀 (I’m sure by Carrie) 😀 use raccoon and can’t fault the service.

    (>) Thanks Carrie. 😉

    Roy.
