    Hello all 😀 .. some advice really … been running for 10 months and at that stage where i am thinking of getting a workshop. in two minds really but feel it will help business to have a place people can come to or see. We currently run from home and doing vehicles or signs longer than my garage are a night mare. Any advice, stories, pointer will be appretiated. 😮

    quick reply, do you think you have enough income from what you do now “every week” to cover the costs of a work unit?

    if the answer is yes! then go for it, you will be able to take more on, get more done & your customers will take you far more seriously.

    What is a reasonable rate for a unit of about 1000sq ft?

    There’s one we are looking at that is also on a main road so has passing traffic, the guy wants £200 a week for it.

    does that 200 a week include business rates? if not ours are 6k a year on top of our rent 👿

    Thanx everyone … £200 would just about cover rates, the rent around £600pm for 1100 sqft.

    still not sure wot 2 do. 🙄
