may be a stupid questuion but!!
I’ve found this on ebay and hoped someone may know what it is
it seems to be going quite cheap and I belive it has something to do with sign making or printing

Its looks to be a single to 3 phase convertor, didn’t even know they existed. Basically some equipment needs 3 phase electricity to work, and I’d presume this converts your regular electricity to 3 phase, exactly what it says on the tin.
It may be worth looking up industrial equipment on the web, see if you can find a similar product and what price it is. The only thing I’d be thinking of if I was bidding on it, it may not work, so you could be buying a dead duck 😕
