    To Bob,

thought I’d show you what they look like without a Sign splashed down the side of it.

also just added info about this job: took 6hr to cut and fit + artwork time(i cant remember)
    one man fit,
Dry fitted most of it except the white reflective,

It is a nice truck hey, V8 too, stick shift,

nice work mate.. nice design clean and simple but effective.

constructive crit: ide drop the size of the line safety services etc
seems to distract you from title line, try stairing at it as a whole. the bottom lines tugging your eyes downwards. just my opinion…

thanks for taking the time to post mate. look forward to more of your work 😉

Blimey 😮 Nice ute 😀 I like the helicopter, looks smart.

Which bit is white reflective? Is that more a safety thing or a design thing?

    Cheers, Dewi

    Nice Job Dman,

Pity you left the coast. We need more good shops down there. Losing one of the better guys is unfortunate. Good for the UK, bad for OZ.

Who did you work for/or trade as over here. I thought Bremner signs did Care Flights work?

All the best for your new digs anyway. Sorry to see you go.

    Cheers

Thanks Rob always need ‘constructive crit’ make’s us better at what we do right… your right the bottom line does pull your eyes down, but the bottom line is what the client wanted to see as the main thing to stand out.(i wanted just the careflight word only myself)

Hey Shane i saw your Van ‘DSI’ looks large mate, yes i think Bremner signs does the big Buses and billboards but for the last 15 yrs my Family Co. has done the work and has kept my family fed through the tough times. the Co. name is now Coastwide Signs and is built on our names, you know word of mouth..

Dewi the white Ref went over white cast vinyl CAREFLIGHT AND SAFETY word so we could remove it latter…

Ok in New York and having a good time, don’t want to leave but cant wait to get to the UK eather… alright Dman out

    keep sticking boys…

I’ll keep an eye out for Coastwide now mate.

I have been familiar with your work for careflight for many years.

Did you do the helicopters too? We did lot of work for the Paul Hogan Movies and others, and one time we had to cover the Careflight signs on their choppers because they had leased them to the movie people (at $600 per hour). We were told if we damaged the original signs, we would be in strife. Alas, we did damage some of the signs but hand cut them before the director found out.

The original sign shop is probably still wonderig what happen to their signs on those choppers because the hand cutting was nothing I was proud of. Spent more time looking over my shoulder for the Director than looking at what I was doing on the copter.

Anyway, take care, be safe, and look forward from hearing from you in the future.

    Cheers
    Shane
