Van Graphics: LTTS
Posted by Stephen Ingham on 4 December 2004 at 15:58This was my first attempt at ever applying vinyl to a vehicle, it started here and has been going since.
Next on the agenda is “wrapping”
lets see how that goes

I really like the phone number strip, smart as 😀 Looks good. Some of the text is a tad small, and it’ll make it difficult to read from a distance, but still, its clean and tidy.

cheers Dewi, that was done with a little stika sx12 about 3 years ago, that led to our next door neighbour asking about us doing 7 transits for his pop delivery business, as so on, and so on etc.
cheers

Ahhh, a Stika! Blimey, you made good use of that then! Are they the ones that cut a maximum of 12″ wide? I have a mate with a similar plotter to that I think, its a Roland one, but uses a maximum roll width of 380mm (I think) but he does some good stuff on it.

yes, 12 inch cut, pain to work with as the jobs come in and get bigger, we now use a summa d60 and a hp designjet (36in), excellent bits of kit, we are looking at going down the printed vinyl avenue now, expecting a demo at our place this week.

Nightmare 1st van, 1998 Astra was the 1st & last van I stuck vinyl on (my own) Nightmare to line anything up!
Bought a new Astra last week. Think I will leave it to the professionals this time! :lol1:

as you’re local brian, will give you a good deal, (left at robbies discretion if this is allowed) might as well live up to the rumours that you employ me.
