• File Swapping

  How do I open this??????????

  A client has given me artwork with an fh8 file extension. Does anyone know what type of file this is and how I can open it?

  its Macromedia Freehand file ver 8, the client if he has
  made the artwork should be able to export as AI or EPS format

  …adrians right dawn, but if you can’t get it from them in another format i’ve just checked and it looks like you can import it into corel12 which i’ve just installed so if you want me to test it send me a pm.

  I have freehand 5,8,10 and MX if you want me to open it for you and convert it.

  Not that I like Freehand or anything.

  The simplest way is to change the .FH8 extention to .ai, and open it in what ever you usually use for adobe illustrator .ai files !
