Again with the pens!
Is it just me, or is anyone else recieving pens through the post? 😮
Today I recieved my third pen in as many days!The first was an expensive looking maroon one, the second a little cheaper, but the same maroon colour and today we have plastic heavan, with garish colours and my business name printed about 20 times all over it (which considering the length of my business name, I was quite impressed they could fit it all on! 😉 )
What will I recieve tomorrow, a quill? 😕

We have had lots of pens, a ruler, a desk diary and today we recieved a slimline diary, which is actually quite nice. Waiting to see what arrives tomorrow now. 😀

Now a desk diary I’d be pleased with, I could do with one of those 😀 I’d not be overly impressed with a ruler though 😕 Does it do anything special other than measure and act as a straight edge? Play music, have flashing lights or that timeless classic, the holographic image of a moose?
It must cost these companies a fortune sending out promotional items left right and centre.

WE get pens here in OZ too. Some company in the states sends them out.
This is the 3rd time we have got a pen, with our name engraved on them and all. We’ll probably order some of these this time around, as they are fairly good quality.
Talking to a company that does similar mail outs here in Australia too. They work on percenatges. Apparently the % that reply with an order is very impressive. Certainly worth the excercise from all accounts.

Is anyone sending gifts out to customers for xmas and if you are what are you sending?? Just wondering ….. ok being nosey 😀 Do you send larger gifts out to larger clients and mini gifts to smaller ones or does everyone get the same gift or do you you send them nothing and be a complete scrooge 😉 :lol1:

to burn off one bag of walkers crisps?I wonder how many steps it takes to burn off a tube of Pringles?

I have received pens and diaries some really nice pens so I have ordered some pens and organisers(diary really) to send out to customers. I need to get my name out there as much as possible and I feel I am getting more for my money than an advert in the paper.

we have been getting pens for years never have to buy any also get diary’s and calenders maybe we’re mean all we do at Christmas is send card’s

I spoke too soon, this morning I recieved….
A leather binder with my company name on
A smart looking maroon pen
2 leather bookmarks (complete with company name)
A bus pass holder 😮 (I know I’m old, but come on!)
and a voucher that lets me have 50% off my printed mousemats… you know, the hundreds that I buy, its a great saving 😕 🙄
And there was I, fussing over 3 pens… a Bus Pass Holder… 😮 😮 😮

Paul, the walkometer will show how many steps you walk in a day …….. Im going to attach it to Stephani my two year old and Hovis my dog, well when I get it that is 😛 :lol1: Ooooooooh pringles, they are yummy scrummy and its so true …. once you pop…..!!! I have a thing for jammie dodgers aswell ….. lethal to leave a packet of either near me 😮

We are still deciding what to send our customers, we know our big ones that give regular business to us will get a bottle of something and some nice things, but we would like to give our little small regulars something aswell ….. I like the diary idea and yesterday the diary that came in was quite nice, £1.99 each for 50 that includes your company name embossed on it in gold and comes complete with a gift box ….. does that sound a good price??
