We all start somewhere and if you have the chance to grab yourself a plotter, why not?!?

Next consideration (unless you’ve already sorted it) is your software. What are you thinking of using? What type of graphics work/software can you already use? And can that be adapted to the signs industry? 😀

If its a 24″ plotter and it has all the gubbins with it, its a bargain price!

I was a total beginner just under 12 months ago, bought my plotter through the uksg and virtually learned how to use it on these boards. Once you get the hang of it, its not too difficult, but if you need help getting started, this is certainly the best place to be.

Any idea which software you’re getting with the plotter?

    Cheers, Dewi

Even without the software, £900 is a bargain! At least it gets you up and running, and if one of the 3 softwares is legit, you’ve got a double bargain! 😀

Good price on the plotter but how old is it. Rolands are ok but need regular servicing. Which ever of the software is legit you’ve got your monies worth there alone. 😀

    Hi Graig,
When I bought my first plotter it was The Roland cx24 came only with Roland Stika.
It was enough to get me started doing basic work, like dewi said you have got to start somewhere.

    Good Luck Mate.
    Rot.
