    Hi,

Got to match a quote as to the spec below. Not my bag but a regular customer of ours wants us to do it.

Need to know best supplier UK and if possible more local Scotland or Glasgow.

    Cheers

    John

You could give Ashby a try, only thing is they are in Reading, Berkshire miles away from Scotland.

monoframe is a spandex extrusion – nice and easy to convert with ‘normal’ tools (a chop saw is useful). Spandex will sell it to you in standard lengths or will put you in touch with one of their old ‘sign centres’ who know all about the product and will make the signs for you.

An alternative would be to have a chat to Graphex in Newcastle, they are reasonably priced and will be able to take the spec, ask the right questions and turn out a very good looking finished product. Their number is 0191 460 6423 or http://www.graphex.co.uk

    Good luck

popdog, i’ve just re-read the specification and it reads as if the sign is a 5 metre totem sign with a 2m x 2m panel – if this is the case then i would tread carefully, there are going to be advertisement consent and planning issues, not to mention the foundations that the customer will probably expect you to detail (and take responsibility for!).

As long as it’s not breaking any forum rules I’d be happy to detail up the enquiry for you to send out to your chosen supplier(s) – let me have your contact details if you’d like some help
