    Hello all,

Now, this may seem daft, but as a kindly (and slightly looney) professor-type according to some, I have a question to ask of anyne who has been into hot foil printing.

I recently had an enquiry for a fairly large amount of hot-foil stamped items, and as I had seen Becky’s machine for sale I thought I might have a go at these things.

Well, Becky’s machine sold before I could get to it, but I think I’ve found another. Now, here’s the rub…….can anyone tell me where I can get the following: dies, the ususal consumables – foils etc, and -quite importantly -a book of destructions, ’cause I haven’t the faintest idea how these things work.

Where we are based here in Spain, there’s a massive market for promotional items, and I have decided to expand the business in that direction, hopefully just in time for Xmas.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

    Cheers me dears

first step should be, to join 1 of the 2 monthly mag groups.

    try

    http://www.hotfoilprinting.org

there you will find most of the suppliers for foil and blanks.

    spee-dee ltd

    01244 539638 sell almost everything.

Alison Fleming`s ” a guide to the whole business” is concidered the hot foil bible. Available from hotfoilprinting.org

    hope this helps.
