    Hi all.
I’m thinking of approaching my local estate agents over the next few days to do there for sale signs for them. does anyone know how much they usually sell for or have any experience in the matter??? i have at least ten local estate agents for residential and a few for commercial.

any help or advice would be appreciated

That is such a cut throat field here in South Africa, a double sided 600 x 400 mm 3mm correx board , with steel stakes and a double sided 3 colour screenprint goes for about 3 quid in qtys of 50 over here. It’s a market which I would really hesitate to get into. Estate agents are notoriuosly cheap here , they can sell a 200k quid house , make 7.5% on the sale and they hassle to give the new householder a 1.5 quid keyring!!!!!

There was a thread about this a couple of weeks ago, you might find some of the info useful?:

Agency Express are the ones who seem to have cornered this market.

I’m not 100% but i think they are a franchise type company which suites this kind of work as the overheads are low all you need is a man with a van!

It does seem to be very cut throat and the average price is around the £3.75 mark for double sided printed board post and putting up.

I guess the ideal situation would be to have plenty of estate agents on your books and just do say two days a week where you go putting the signs up.
